It's the Mid-Autumn Festival, since there's only one season in Malaysia, we always refer it as Mooncake festival, as mooncake is a MUST for today!!it's great to be here with family. No celebrations, no lanterns for me this year, hmm...should be every year..but still, it's a bless to have your family staying by ur sides in this special festival.
Woke up at 8.30am, shared my pillow and blanket with my little puppy for the whole night. Help my mum with all the praying stuff and did some houseworks. Today is 15th in the Lunar Calender, so..NO MEAT is allowed for the whole day!! Only vegetarian dishes are allowed. But u cant believe all those vegetarian dishes nowadays look and even taste like meat!!haha...we have vegetarian fish, chicken, etc...not going out today, my mum's dishes are just much better than the outside food!
We have mooncakes with 3 yolks!!! there are 4 of us here, so..time for a fight..cant believe that my dad, my sis and i were fighting for the egg yolks in the mooncake. My mum doesnt have to do anything, as we will always reserve one for her.haha.. sometimes, we even cut the mooncake into 4 pieces, and it's time for a guess. Each person will be allocated with one piece, the one who get the piece of mooncake with no yolk is unlucky!!haha...
The moon was very round, very bright, very beautiful. People always say the in the sky of the other country is always rounder and nicer.i doubt about it. seriously...
leaving in less in 10 days, and i haven started packing. time just flying too fast!!
